Judgement
The Awakening
The card
A final gathering of all the forces that have come before, the enigmatic story of Adam and Eve takes center stage as they stand naked before judgment. They share the source of all knowledge as the God-like figure above them blows a horn, signaling that Judgment Day has come. The role of God and mortals’ uncomfortable relationship with the natural world both come into focus in this image.
The Judgment card signifies that it is now time to revel in joy and beauty. The sun has always been there and you are standing beneath its rays. You have alchemized and healed any wounds from your past, awakening to a higher version of yourself. Acknowledge where you’ve been, but do not take it with you. Seek out others who have walked and weathered their own journeys and see what you can learn from them. Consider this a time of refreshment and preparation for the next cycle.
What call keeps returning because it belongs to you?

The archetype in motion
An unlived part of the personality summons the conscious self toward a fuller life. Its shadow is grandiosity or obedience to a call that has not been examined. Integration distinguishes a deep summons from the need to feel specially chosen.
