Similar to the transition from four pentacles to five pentacles, in the Nine of Pentacles a stable home environment has made way for spiritual aspirations. This is a kind of growth with a result that is that much more abundant than the place from whence it came.
A word of caution: Beware of clinging too tightly to the past or allowing yourself to be swept away by fantasy. In doing so, you run the risk of losing all that you have accomplished in but a moment. Work in tandem with that which has brought you this far so that you may continue expanding your place in the world and your influence on it.
