The card

Five interrupts the arrangement just as everyone has learned where to put the drinks. Union is not fusion. New affection asks two lives to become more visible, not less distinct. In Jungian terms, the disturbance carries shadow material into affection, home, and projection: energy or truth excluded for the sake of looking coherent.
