Four of Diamonds

Aristotle argued that a household needed enough material stability before anyone in it could turn to philosophy at all — you cannot contemplate the good life on an empty larder. The Four is that stability finally achieved: your name carries weight now, your labor has produced something greater than you alone. Jung's senex governs this card, the ordering principle that turns effort into structure that lasts. This is your first real estate, in every sense of the word. Like any estate, though, it needs continued tending — foundations don't maintain themselves just because they were once well laid.
