Five of Spades

Every rigorous Enlightenment system eventually met its Hume — someone patient enough to ask what, exactly, the whole architecture actually rested on, and the answer was rarely as solid as it looked. The Five is that interruption arriving from underneath rather than being invited from above: order cracked open not by an outside force, but by something rising from the thinker's own depths that refuses to stay filed away. Jung would call this the return of what thinking alone had exiled — feeling, instinct, the parts of a person a purely rational system has no line item for. This is a testing period, not a collapse. What survives this pruning is finally load-bearing. What doesn't was only ever decoration.
