The Empty Room · Cycladic Clubs

The card

Whatever certainty the Cycladic figures once held for the people who made them, it left with them — the room they were meant for is empty now, and no explanation survived to fill it back in. The Five is that same emptying felt from within: the comfortable stages already passed through, and now only the void ahead where the next stage hasn't yet arrived to replace them. Jung insisted the unconscious does its most important work precisely in darkness like this — not despite the not-knowing, but because of it. There's a teaching about insecurity that applies directly here: the anxiety isn't a sign something's wrong. It's what it actually feels like to stop grasping for solid ground before new ground has arrived.

What certainty have you outgrown that you haven't yet replaced with anything?

For today: let one uncertainty stay unresolved instead of rushing to fill it.
