The card
Working obsidian was never a gentle craft — it took real force, real risk of a blade shattering wrong, to produce something that could finally cut clean. The Seven carries that same friction: creative pursuit that looks, from outside, like conflict, but is really just what creation costs when it's genuinely alive. Jung's shadow work often looks exactly this aggressive from the outside — a fight, when really it's just the labor of bringing something real into form. Drama, art, struggle: all of it is the same striking of stone against stone. Nothing sharp gets made without some sparks.
What are you fighting for that's actually a creative act, not a war?
For today: let today's friction be productive rather than something to avoid.
