King of Clubs

We have no music from this culture, no instruments beyond a few carved figures holding what look like harps, arms raised as if mid-note — a gesture frozen in stone, its actual sound lost entirely. The King carries that same silent music: inspiration pulled from somewhere unseen, tending it not for himself alone, but for whoever will eventually need to hear it.
