The card

The great natural philosophers of this era were often described the same way by their contemporaries: brilliant, generous with their findings, and strangely difficult to actually reach as people — as if the mind had grown so large it left less room for the person inside it. The King carries exactly that quality. His gaze moves over an audience he never quite lands on, because his real audience was never other people — it was the ideas themselves. Jung would name this the shadow side of a fully realized thinking function: mastery so complete it starts to forget it needs anyone. He has brought more into the world than almost anyone else in this suit. Just ask him, gently, who he brought it for.

What have you built that's brilliant, but that no one has actually gotten to share with you?

For today: make real eye contact with one person today — actually meet them, not just their ideas.
