Two of Diamonds

A Greek symbolon was literally a physical object, split in two, each half kept by a different party as proof of an agreement — trust made tangible, not left to memory alone. The Two asks for that same physical honesty: partnership recorded plainly, not left to assumption or the shifting sand of what someone might remember later. Jung would say projection thrives on vagueness — the less clearly stated a bond is, the more room there is to imagine, and later resent, what the other person never actually agreed to. Write it down. Say the terms out loud. What you're building together deserves a foundation more solid than good intentions.
