The Sharpened Edge · Cycladic Clubs
The card
Cycladic hands worked obsidian into blades sharp enough to still cut, thousands of years later, if you know how to hold them — volcanic glass, formed under pressure, useless until it's struck correctly. The Three is that same striking: personal power breaking open, a path forged where there wasn't one a moment ago. Jung's individuation often begins exactly this way, not as gentle unfolding but as sudden fracture that reveals an edge you didn't know you had. This is only a preview. The blade is made; it hasn't cut anything yet. What matters now is what you do with an edge this sharp, and who you decide to become while holding it.
What new power have you just discovered in yourself, and what will you do with it?
For today: take one small action from this new sense of your own capability.
